Working effectively with the Executive Director, the Facilities Manager (FM) lives and works on the 175 acres of camp property. The FM is responsible for keeping the buildings, grounds and equipment in top shape throughout the main property as well as the camp’s satellite properties at Tomahawk Lodge in Dunnellon, FL and our primitive campsite in Sumter County. The FM serves as the point of contact for all visiting groups during the off-season of camp and oversees all work and service projects throughout the year, with guidance from the Executive Director.

Brief Description:
Counselors live in cabins with a fellow staff member and approximately 12 campers. They are responsible for supervising and mentoring the campers in their cabin while facilitating an environment in which campers can make friends, have fun, grow in faith and be safe. Counselors motivate campers and are expected to support and participate in all camp activities. Counselors respect the teachings of the Catholic faith and are comfortable discussing, sharing and growing in their own spiritual life. All counselors are assigned to a specific program depending upon their interests and abilities. Counselors also take part in many work projects that keep our property and facilities clean and in working order. This is a seasonal paid position with room and board included.
The following qualifications are mandatory for all counselors and must be completed prior to working this summer:
- Must be at least 17 years of age.
- Must be able to pass a level II background check.
- Must complete the safe environment training provided by the Diocese of St. Petersburg.

Brief Description:
Kitchen Staff live in cabins with a fellow staff member and approximately 12 campers. Their main responsibility is to the kitchen and report directly to the Cook. Kitchen Staff are to arrive in the kitchen on time to prepare each meal of the day. They assist with preparing, serving, and supervising the distribution of meals. They are also responsible for the sanitation of the kitchen, including all utensils, and the surrounding Mess Hall amenities. Kitchen Staff may be asked to help supervise campers once their kitchen duties are complete or if instructed by the leadership staff. The best kitchen staff are hard workers, they're not afraid of getting their hands dirty, they maintain a positive attitude, and go out of their way to assist campers and fellow staff members. This is a paid position with room and board included.

- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Must be able to pass a level II background check.
- Must complete the safe environment training provided by the Diocese of St. Petersburg.
