Why have prices increased from last year?
If you registered for camp last summer you may have noticed our prices have increased about $50 per week for the summer of 2023. While we take special care to make sure camp remains affordable for as many families as possible, this increase is a reflection of the current cost of all things needed to run camp; including increased costs in fuel, electric, food, insurance and seasonal staff salaries. In addition to this, we are expecting our cabin renovation project to take a major leap forward this year with the installation of A/C units for each of the camper cabins.
Scholarship Options:
We work hard to ensure camp remains an affordable option for the average family. We are able to do this through our dedicated camp staff, generous donors, loyal alumni, and loving volunteers. That being said, we want to make camp accessible to as many families as possible and so we actively pursue donations for our scholarship fund.
Scholarships are awarded through a needs-based financial aid program which helps to ensure all children have access to this amazing camp experience. Scholarships are made possible solely through the generosity of some loving members of the GCC family and benefactors who realize the powerful impact a summer at GCC can have on a young person.
Please contact the camp director by email at [email protected] to receive a scholarship form. Since resources are limited, we would like to make the following requests:
Refund Policy: All refund requests must be submitted in writing and received by the Camp Director prior to the opening of the camp session. A $25.00 administration fee will be assessed (per family) for refunds. No refunds are given after a camper has started a session and leaves camp before the session is complete, unless departure results from injury. No refunds will be issued when dismissal is the result of disciplinary action.
